New Record Highs As Stocks Shake Global Concerns

MARKET WRAP
Stocks rallied for a second day, with big tech leading the charge.
The S&P 500 was up 0.71%, closing at a new record, the Nasdaq was up 0.60% and the Russell 2000 was up 0.18%.
Tech was the top sector, up 1%. Super Micro, Palantir, Broadcom, Oracle, IBM and Walcomm were among the best performers in the group, up 2% or more.
Cruiseliners were the standout stocks on the day. Norwegian was up more than 10% after Citi upgraded it to buy. Carnival and Royal Caribbean were up 7% and nearly 5% respectively.
CNBC notes that more than 30 stocks hit new 52-week highs on the day including Netflix, PayPal, and Home Depot.
